The Swedish government had planned to deport Navid to the hands of Islamic murderers. It had planned to deliver Navid back to the same barbaric regime which had persecuted, arrested, tortured and jailed Navid …to the same barbaric tyranny that had murdered Navid’s older brother Hamid Reza a few years earlier under most savage torture …the same Navid who had since his first day on Swedish soil fought against the barbarity and savagery of the Islamic regime.

AFP: ”The United States retained Iran and its ally Syria as well as Sudan and Cuba on a list of alleged state sponsors of terrorism Thursday, after blacklisting the countries the previous year. In an annual report, the State Department said ‘Iran remained the most active state sponsor of terrorism in 2010,’ citing ‘financial, material and logistic support’ for militant groups in the Middle East and Central Asia. It said Iran backed Palestinian groups Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, along with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, the Taliban in Afghanistan and Iraqi Shiite Muslim militant groups. The State Department said its support for such groups ‘had a direct impact on international efforts to promote peace, threatened economic stability in the Gulf, and undermined the growth of democracy.’”

(۲۷ مرداد ۱۳۹۰) از زمانی که دکتر احمد شهید گزارشگر ویژه حقوق بشر سازمان ملل در امور ایران در ۱۲ مردادماه با انتشار بیانیه ای گفت که کار خود را برای تحقیق و بررسی و گزارش نویسی در مورد وضعیت حقوق بشر در ایران آغاز می کند، نامه های متعددی از سوی فعالان حقوق بشر، زندانیان سیاسی و افرادی که دراین حوزه فعالیت می کنند به دفتر وی ارسال شده و در رسانه ها نیز منتشر شده است.
آقای احمد شهیددربیانیه خود تصریح کرده بود که بر اساس آنچه در احکام سازمان ملل متحد آمده جامعه مدنی ایران و مدافعان حقوق بشر اطلاعات خود را در زمینه موارد نقض حقوق بشر به دفتر وی ارائه دهند. وی باید در اجلاس مجمع عمومی که ماه آینده در شهر نیویورک برگزار خواهد ش گزارش اولیه خود را ارائه کند. نحوه مکاتبات با دفتر دکتر شهید از طریق ارسال ایمیل به آدرس های زیر است :
